Sheryl J. Manning has been practicing in the estate planning, probate, and elder law fields for many years. She earned her law degree in 1983 from the George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC. She is a member of the Florida, Michigan, and Illinois bars.

Sheryl holds a Certificate of Completion in the areas of probate and estate planning issued by the Michigan Institute of Continuing Legal Education. She is a past chair of the probate & estate planning section of her local county bar association in Michigan, and is the recent past president of the Coral Gables/South Dade Estate Planning Council. From 2013-2016, she taught the Federal Estate and Gift Taxation course as an adjunct faculty member of the FIU Law School.

Sheryl currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Alliance for Aging, Inc., and is a member of Elder Counsel, the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), the Association of Florida Elder Law Attorneys (AFELA), BNI Miami-Dade, and The Commonwealth Institute (TCI).

Sheryl is also a member of the Elder Law, Tax Law, and Real Property, Probate & Trust Law sections of the Florida Bar; and of the Dade County Bar Association, including its Probate and Guardianship Committee.
