Sheryl J. Manning has been practicing in the estate planning, probate, and elder law fields for many years. She earned her law degree from the George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC, and previously practiced in Illinois and Michigan. She moved to Florida in 2012, and has practiced in the Miami area since then.

Sheryl is a member and past President of the Coral Gables/South Dade Estate Planning Council. She has served for several years on the Board of Directors of the Alliance for Aging Inc. and is the recent past Chair of that Board. She is a member of Wealth Counsel, the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), and the Association of Florida Elder Law Attorneys (AFELA).

Sheryl is also a member of the Elder Law, Tax Law, and Real Property, Probate & Trust Law sections of the Florida Bar; and of the Dade County Bar Association, including its Probate and Guardianship Committee.

From 2013-2016, in addition to practicing estate planning and elder law, she taught the Federal Estate and Gift Taxation course as an adjunct faculty member of the FIU Law School.
